The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of ₹131 crore for Team India after their remarkable triumph in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
India clinched the prestigious title by defeating New Zealand national cricket team in the final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With this victory, India successfully defended their crown and became the first team in the tournament’s history to retain the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title.
The triumph also marked another historic milestone, as India became the first side to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup three times, further strengthening their legacy as one of the most successful teams in the shortest format of the game.
